What it is for
Platelets carry growth factors that the skin uses to repair itself. Concentrated and returned to the skin, they support a fresher, more even look over the weeks after each session.
Texture
Rough or uneven skin, and enlarged pores.
Tone
Dull skin that looks tired.
Fine lines
Early fine lines, including under the eyes.
PRP or PRF
Both start with a blood sample spun in a centrifuge. They differ in how they are prepared and how they behave in the skin; we choose one with you at the consultation.
PRP
Platelet-rich plasma: a liquid concentrate, applied during microneedling or injected.
PRF
Platelet-rich fibrin: spun more gently and without additives, so it thickens into a gel that releases its growth factors slowly once injected.
Your visit
Consultation
Free. We look at your skin and plan the sessions with you.
Treatment
A small blood sample is taken and spun. After a numbing cream, the concentrate is injected or applied during microneedling.
Recovery
Redness and slight swelling settle within a day or two. Skip makeup for the rest of the day.
Questions
How many sessions will I need?
Often three, about a month apart, then one now and then to keep the result. We plan it with you at the consultation.
PRP or a skin booster?
Skin boosters use a prepared product, such as hyaluronic acid. PRP and PRF use your own blood, so nothing is added from outside.
Who should not have it?
Not during pregnancy, with a blood or platelet disorder, on blood thinners, during cancer treatment, or with an infection or cold sore in the area.
Consultation and booking
The consultation is free. Current prices and offers are on Price & Promotion.
